Technics 1210's, Pioneer DJM-500 Mixer, Ableton live, reason 3. Eddie (Aka Dj Anjos) began his love of music at an early age, influnenced heavy from his late fathers taste of classical compossers, and the skillful and talented original rat packs (Dean Martin, frank Sinatara, Bing Crosbey). At the age of 11, his musical taste flourished into the 'Indie' music scene, such as The Pixies, The wonderstuff, Neds atomic dustbins, Dodgy, Transvision vamp, and more. ; ; Ed’s love and passion for electronic music developed back in 1990 when he witnessed the live performance from a band called Carter USM, in a well known venue in Leeds (although having to skip school to attend) this was the beginning of Ed’s journey into dance music. <div>During this time, Ed was involved in a band, he eventually saved and bought a grove box 808 and took the idea of incorporating this with the live band, how ever this idea was not shared with the rest of the group. His music developed once more in 1991 when he attended his first club night at Bowlers in Manchester and this event started his interest in Raves, Decks and Dj’s. Quickly his passion grew and he started to listen to events such as Fantasia and Helter Skellter, and the old Wigan Pier began. But one style that caught his eye was Jungle (which later turned into D&B), again saving his money he was able to buy his first set of Decks, and frequented local record shops in his town and further a field in Leeds, in particular Eastern Block Records, at this time, he was unaware how this store would be a big influence in the future. After months of spending and searching out tracks, Ed befriends one of the sales assistants, his knowledge of tracks grew, his love of Dj’s grew, and he started to receive freebies. Ed eventually gained a part time job at the record shop, thanks to his friend, working on the weekend, and practicing his skills during the week, keeping informed about new tracks and Dj’s constantly, in the late winter of 1991, was the beginning of their musical partnership, composing of Decks & the Groove box, taking in turns to spin the tracks, and sample beats and baselines over each others mixing. Performing at a house party, ;that lasted from late afternoon to the early hours of the following morning. Through this they got there first break in the form of a Christmas Eve performance at the Slug & lettace in Wakefield. 1993- 1995 musical taste and style developed from D&B to Techno, getting involved with handing out flyers on a saturday evening for The Orbit, (Leeds, morley), Ed became a dedicated lover of Techno, and witnessing the skills of the likes of Carl cox, jeff mills, john berry, mark turner, sen veth, always learning, and watching how they controled the crowd. His persitence and iniative paid off when he was offered a trial and his ;first residency ;at the club, ;djing ;in the chill out room, were his sets consited of minmal techno, and break beat. ; </div> Sasha, John Digweed,Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Klinenburg, Jeff mills, Carl Cox, Tiesto,
